Laura is an experienced speaker and workshop leader, passionate about empowering individuals to explore, communicate and research through movement and text. Laura has previously worked with organizations such as Stockholm University of the Arts, University of Sheffield, National Centre for Circus Arts and Le Carre Magique (Fr).
Laura delivers workshops, devising sessions, talks and other participatory activities (suitable for a diverse range of abilities and ages) for professionals, community groups, and vocational, undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Sessions offered:
Aerial technique and devising workshops
Autobiographical writing workshops
Practice-led-research seminars, lectures and workshops (theatre, circus, performance)
Supported analysis and discussion for groups (theatre, circus, performance)
How to make a solo show - researching and getting started workshop
Talks and lectures (please enquire for more details)
Laura also offers one-to-one mentoring sessions, supporting artists/performers/producers (new or experienced) with dramaturgy, UK & EU touring/booking, funding, building relationships with venues, and project planning.
